TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. But inform how you think about it.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.

The complete breakdown, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, and the bonus tab trade terms, tabtrade is at tabtrade review tradetheday.com.
