TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
